Charmaine Teo is an early years thinker, lawyer, and co-founder of a well-known Singapore preschool named Between Two Trees. She currently serves as vice-president of the Association for Early Childhood Educators (Singapore), a professional body committed to working with educators, other professionals and stakeholders. Charmaine lives with her husband and her inquisitive daughter in Singapore, where she manages her preschool and leads training on project and personalised learning. Charmaine firmly believes in the beauty of safe spaces that support emergent and experiential early learning within an Asian context.
Koh Hui Hua is an art therapist, teacher trainer, early years teacher, a social worker at heart and co-founder of Between Two Trees. Having obtained a Masters in Art Therapy, Hui Hua has more than 18 years of experience working with young children in the early education space, and has spent a good portion of that time organising workshops for Singapore educators and training student teachers in visual arts. She lives with her husband and energetic son in Singapore. Hui Hua strongly believes in including visual arts a crucial component of early education and in providing children with the widest range of materials to facilitate their learning.
